A: Yes. There is a free 10 minute consultation. This time will allow us to assess your therapeutic needs.

Q: How long will I be in therapy for?

A: Everyone has unique circumstances and the length of time needed for therapy to accomplish your goals depends on your desire for personal development, your commitment, and the factors that are driving you to seek therapy.

Q: How long does each therapy session take?

A: Each session is between 50-55 minutes.

Q: What happens if I cancel or miss an appointment?

A: If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice (except in the case of an extreme emergency) you are responsible for the full cost of the session and this cannot be billed to insurance.

Q: Can you still be my therapist if I don't live in Michigan?

A: I am licensed to practice therapy in the state of Michigan. However, I am able to provide individual coaching for people outside of Michigan. Coaching is different from therapy, which focuses on working through emotions and experiences. Coaching focuses more on setting and achieving goals. It is more directive and solution focused than therapy. Coaching is not a covered insurance benefit.
